Who Can Apply

Applications are welcomed from community-led organisations, charities, voluntary groups and not-for-profit organisations delivering projects that benefit local people.

Applications should clearly explain:

  • Who is applying
  • Where the project will take place
  • Who the project will support
  • What the funding will be used for
  • How the project will be delivered
  • What is the expected timescale of the project
  • What difference the project is expected to make
  • How the impact will be measured

What We Cannot Fund

Shaw Together Funding is unable to support:

  • Applications from individuals applying for personal funding
  • General sponsorship requests
  • Projects without clear community benefit
  • Retrospective funding for work already completed
  • Commercial or profit-making activity

How to Apply

  • Check eligibility - Make sure your project fits our charitable aims and community focus.
  • Complete the form - Tell us about your organisation, your project, the funding requested and the expected impact.
  • Trustee review - Applications are reviewed at quarterly trustee meetings.
  • Outcome confirmed - Applicants are notified after the review, normally within 10 working days of the meeting.

When can I apply?

Applications can be submitted at any time. They will usually be reviewed at the next available quarterly trustee meeting.
